Staff scope: BoomBoxCar staff set up and operate the system, manage licensed music playback, and provide MC support and announcements. Dedicated DJ service is not included. You provide general musical direction and the event message; BoomBoxCar staff retain control of playback and programming.

BoomBoxCar brings mobile sound and amplification to farmers markets, pop-ups, block parties, birthday parties, school events, neighborhood gatherings, private parties, and brand activations across Silver Spring, Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Need a dedicated DJ? That service is not part of a BoomBoxCar booking. Visit Silver Spring Records for separate DJ services and music curation.

Are you insured?

Yes—commercial auto and a business owners policy including general liability and property damage. COI available upon request.

What is included with every booking?

Every booking includes professional-grade audio equipment, the inflatable BoomBox, two wireless microphones, licensed music and commercial insurance, daytime bubbles, nighttime RGB light panels, MC support and announcements, and on-board power with no outlets required. The shade awning and laser and haze effects are optional add-ons.

Does BoomBoxCar include a DJ?

A dedicated DJ service is not included. You provide general musical direction and the event message; BoomBoxCar staff retain control of licensed music playback and programming while providing MC support and announcements.

Do you speak Spanish?

¡Sí! Podemos atender completamente en español.

Do you offer karaoke? Are performance rights included?

Yes. A licensed KaraFun karaoke system is available as an add-on. Your group leads the activity; BoomBoxCar staff do not serve as a karaoke host or MC.

What if it rains?

With our awnings and covered speakers we can party (light) rain or shine. If heavy rain is expected, rescheduling is allowed.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations and rescheduling are available up to 3 days before the event.
